IVEDI is a well-experienced sailing team that opens up new horizons and improves its sporting achievements every new season.
The team included yachtsmen with international experience. IVEDI has been competing in the J/70 class in Turkey since its establishment. Participated in J/70 European and World Championships. There are 2x J/70 Turkish Championship, 2x J/70 Turkish Trophy and Dragon World Championship Corinthian 1st league in its competitions list.
The owner of the team and the helmsman Yiğit Eroğlu, founding partner of Hedef Yelken, gathered the strongest crew for the second stage of the Tenzor International Cup – J/70 Open Winter Series 2023/2024. Together with him, in the upcoming regatta will take part:
-Hakan Karakaplan as a tactician who successfully performs in J/70, Dragon and Farr 40;
- Fırat Şahin - an international yachtsman who participated in the World and European Championships in racing classes 470, Melges 32, J/70.
- Yiğit Taban on the position of bowman. He competed in Dragon and J/70 classes, Dragon World Championship 1st division as helmsman and boat owner.
IVEDI team also won the Maximiles Black The Bodrum Cup 100th Anniversary Commemorative Races Challenge Cup in the maxi boats class last summer.
The crew is ready to compete for prizes at the second stage of the Tenzor International Cup J/70 Open Winter series 2023/2024.
