In its first winter season in Turkey, the Tenzor International Cup – J/70 Open Winter Series brought together and united many famous and iconic people in the sailing world. These are athletes participating in regattas, judges with umpires from different countries, as well as honorary guests from different fields of sports, business and politics.
The final stage of the series, which will take place from April 11 to 14, 2024, will bring together not only a very bright and strong teams, but will also be full of pleasant surprises.
The most experienced world–class specialist, Mark Foster, will be a special guest of the upcoming regatta.
Mark has been working faithfully in sailing for more than 50 years, having passed the most interesting way from a yachtsman to an International Race Officer of World Sailing and a National Race Officer of US Sailing. Since March 2023, Foster has held the high position of the Technical Chief in the J/70 Class Association.
Mark Foster has been the PRO at five of the eight J/70 World Championships, and has served as the PRO at numerous world and continental championships of one-design classes all over the world.
As the American noted in an interview: " I keep learning things every time I race or run a regatta. My advice to everyone is to enjoy the experience!"
