The Goodstream team will represent Porto Montenegro Yacht Club in the final stage of Tenzor International Cup winter series

The entry list and geography of the participants of the Tenzor International Cup – J/70 Open Winter Series 2023-2024 is growing from stage to stage.

Yachtsmen from the Goodstream team represent the sailing school of the same name in Montenegro, where they are actively engaged in training and educational activities.

The team has both experienced sailors with sports achievements and less experienced crew members. Over the past 8 years, Goodstream has achieved good sporting results racing in different team staff. Among them, 2nd place in The Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race in 2016, 1st place in the ARC Ocean Race 2017, 1st place in the Arsenal Cup race in Montenegro in 2021 in the J/70 class.

At the final stage of the Tenzor International Cup – J/70 Open Winter Series 2023-2024, Goodstream will perform with the skipper Gleb Shatkov, a practicing yachtsman, a graduate of the Sailing Sports Department of P.F. Lesgaft University, who has worked his way up from the running the Optimist boat to a sailing coach and instructor of his own sailing school and the crew members Roman Vinogradov, Dmitry Ulyanov and Alexey Dyachkov.

Dmitry Ulyanov: "The Tenzor International Cup series attracted us because it gives us the opportunity to compete with strong teams and raise our own level. We do not set ambitious ranking goals for the upcoming stage, because the main now is to set up the team communication work and have fun. We expect good windy weather, fair judging and new pleasant acquaintances".
