About Clinics
Organized by Tenzor Sailing Club Türkiye and supervised by high-level technique gurus J/70 Training Clinics will be a great opportunity for professional and amateurs sailing teams to fine tune skills for upcoming regattas of Winter Season.
The focus of these clinics will be on the particulars of sailing the J/70 to a high degree of efficiency. Practice races, trimming, helming, start procedures and maneuver debriefs, all on the agenda over the three days. Topics will also include boat setup, speed tips, crew workflow and coordination.
The program consists of three days of training. It starts with briefings, racing strategy, tactics and rules, and then takes to the water and sails to bring the boat to 100%.

The Coaches
Well-known experts in the world of sailing and experienced sailors are top-level coaches who have worked with J/70 boats and know them inside and out.

TOMISLAV BASIC is the top coach of the first J/70 training Clinic in Türkiye!
From December 16 to 18, the first J/70 training Clinic in Türkiye will be launched under the guidance of an experienced coach from Croatia, Tomislav Basic.
Tomislav Basic is in sailing for 35 years. A professional sailor, coach, and sports manager who has achieved great professional success in sailing. Tomislav was a member of the Croatian national sailing team in different classes, participant of the Olympic Games in Athens in the 470 class, skipper of ACI Match Race team (top 10 of ISAF ranking list). Since 2005, he has won 13 World Championship medals and titles in the TP52, Swan 50, RC44, Melges 20, and U25 classes.
In coaching, he trained the Olympians of the Croatian national team, was the coach of the Scorpios, IOM, Bogatyrs, Provezza, Synergy, Nika and other teams. He has extensive experience in running the training Clinics.The full list of Tomislav Basic's sports achievements is in CV.
Registration & Conditions
The cost is 2200 euro/per team up to 5 persons. Individual rate is 800 euro/person. Participants of TIC Winter Series receive a bonus – a training day offset to pay for the Clinic!
The minimum group is 3 boats.
