Team tactician Daniil Odintsov told about new international experience in the 2025 season, as well as define the goals for winter season.
Daniil Odintsov: "This year, the team has broadened its horizons, gained useful international experience, performing in various locations in Italy on RS21 boats. The team raced not only with me as a tactician, but also with foreign tacticians, Italians - Samuel Naldi in San Remo and Giorgio Tartarolla in Garda.
The team has a lot of ideas and plans that we will try to implement. For this winter season, of course, we will perform in the TIC Winter series in Turkey, where there will be a very intense fight. Two strong Russian teams joined the Series – they are Bars Sailing Team and PTICHKI Sailing Team, who are competing for the podium, and there are also more strong rivals from Turkey, so we are making serious efforts to grow and compete at the highest level. We have interesting battles with "Bogatyrs" every season. Naturally, everyone wants to win. Let's see who can do it better this season. We worked a lot as a team. Bogatyrs don't sit still either, they properly work with a coach. Therefore, we are always close in racing and breathing into each other's necks, which sets even more intrigue and adrenaline. Now the first stage is very important - this is the Turkish Championship, the final of the summer series, and the beginning of the winter series. The attitude is as serious and combative as possible. Yesterday we spent the whole day working with the boat, getting ready, and today we will have practice races. And then four days of racing with a good wind forecast".
