Erman Ayvaz and his crew will join the participants of the second stage of the Tenzor Internatioanl Cup – J/70 Open Winter Series 2023/2024.
The Happyhour JR team is made up of experienced yachtsmen, for whom sailing is more than a favorite hobby. Being already in adulthood, the team members actively participate in regattas of national and international status.
Erman Ayvaz, Saruhan Çınay, Saffet Onur Bilgen, Anil Berk Baki represent the Turkish yacht clubs Ferdi, Heybeliada Su Sporları Spor Kulübü, IYK and Galatasaray.
The team has very ambitious plans for 2024 – participation in the European and World Championships. The Tenzor International Cup winter series will be an excellent step in preparation for the upcoming international competitions.
Erman Ayvaz: "Our team consists of the best yachtsmen, and we are always aiming for the win in our races. We have all been involved in sailing for a very long time, it is an important part of our lives. The main goal at the Tenzor International Cup is to become winners in the races in which we participate, to fight with successful and experienced Russian teams, and to improve our sports level. We have already participated in the competitions held in Anthaven more than once. There are often changing conditions, there are currents, and the winds can be difficult. We are looking forward to the regatta!"
