Ada JR with International crew staff is ready for a challenge in TIC Winter Series 2024-2025!

Ada JR team will be represented in the TIC 2024/2025 season by an international crew staff with sailors from Turkey, France, Ireland and Russia. The team actively participates in various regattas all over the world.

Alp Doguoglu (owner and helmsman of Ada JR): «Ada JR was unfortunately not consistent in 2024 season and could attend 2 events only. I look forward to make this up in 2025 as we intend to participate in all legs.Memorable was the great venue, excellent wind conditions, good planing and a chinese broach when I, at the helm quickly washed my hairs-:)

This season we will race with a ’new ‘ team uniting youth and «silver hair» and firstly target fun and team development. Turkish J/70 class and Tenzor Sailing Club are offering the good feeling of amateur owner/driver racing which in the last years is scarce due to sponsored sailing schools prevailing in yacht racing. As such J/70 racing is very valuable and I like it.

İn the team we will have: Patrice Marchetti, a seasoned sailor, we have raced some 20 + years together on yachts; Ali Öztürk, sailmaker and owner of Grand Soleil 37, Ada JR sailor with whom we have been racing in Marmaris in the last few years; İvan Zotov , the talent addition to our team this season, Hasan Çıplak, another seasoned sailor and the father of the Knidos Cup in Datça; Sam Dean, representing the youth element and myself at the helm».
