Tenzor International Cup Open Winter Series 2023/2024 starts in December in Bodrum

The international series of sailing regattas Tenzor International Cup expands the horizons and program of regattas.

The organizers of the project - Tenzor Sailing Club Turkey, with the support of the Turkish Sailing Federation, are establishing a five-stage winter series - Tenzor International Cup Open Winter Series 2023/2024.

The basis of the project will be in Radisson Collection Hotel in Bodrum with a beautiful marina and access to the Mediterranean Sea. Convenient logistics and a full range of services will provide maximum comfort to the participants of the competition.

The regattas will be held every month from December 2023 to April 2024 and will bring together an international composition of participants.

Stage 1: December 7-10, 2023

Stage 2: January 11-14, 2024

Stage 3: February 8-11, 2024

Stage 4: March 7-10, 2024

Stage 5 (FINAL): April 11-14, 2024
The competitions will be organized in a single class of J/70 keel yachts in the format of fleet races with direct judging on the water. The program of each stage includes three racing days plus a training day. Teams can participate on their own boats and on those rented from the hosting organization – Tenzor Sailing Club Turkey.
The Turkish specialist Burak Zengin will become the sports and administrative head of the project. As a professional yachtsman, Burak Zengin participates in a variety of regattas and series. As part of the EKER team, Burak won the Turkish championships in the J/70 class, won bronze at the 2022 European Championship in France, "silver" at the first stage of the Monaco Winter Series in 2021, became the fourth in the qualifying round of the Star Sailing League Gold Cup in Switzerland, and is also a regular participant with a high sports rating in the championships USA in the J/70 class (Midwinter Championship, North American Championship). As an organizer, Burak successfully works in Turkey for Tour of Turkey series in the J/70 class and other regattas.
