Ada JR team will compete in a new line-up and in the One Pro division

The phenomenal success of the Ada JR team in the 2024/2025 season and the third place in the Overall of Corinthians have become an excellent springboard for preparing for the new season. Helmsman Alp Doguoglu announced that in the upcoming TIC Winter Series the team will compete in a new line-up and in the One Pro division, and also shared his pre-start emotions in an interview.

How do you feel about new season, what are your expectations?

Alp Doguoglu: Thank you for the question. This season will be a new start with a new crew in the one pro division. The expectations are very positive and exciting.

Do you keep the team staff from last year or there will be updates?

Alp Doguoglu: Our tactician and young talent have relocated, so this will be a new team except myself.

What is your main motivation in sailing?

Alp Doguoglu: Honestly, I do not know, but we have a saying in Turkish: “If you feel well, continue what you have been doing!”

Where did you sail last summer, how are you preparing for the upcoming Winter Season?

Alp Doguoglu: I have extensively cruised - not on a sailboat, so I am looking forward to sail&race.

Team spirit - what does it mean for you as the skipper and owner?

Alp Doguoglu: It is the core on which everything else is built.
